Lamination = Protection

Laminating Restaurant MenusTo withstand constant handling

Lamination is the process of adding a layer(s) of plastic coating to paper/cardboard to increase strength. Printed pieces that will see heavy usage, be exposed to the outdoors, damp or dirty environments and/or are meant to last are candidates for lamination.

A spiral-bound menu and a single-page menu both with laminated protection.

Laminated restaurant menus are available in many styles and configurations:

Flat
Single sheet, printed on one or both sides, in various sizes.

Folded
Common menu folds are bi-fold, tri-fold, gate-fold, and double gate-fold.

Booklet
Booklet menus are ideal for restaurants with large selections of food and drink. The menus may have laminated covers with plain interior sheets or they may be spiral bound with the covers and interior pages laminated.

Self-Standing
Self-standing menus, such as a z-fold or the miniature easel-type, are designed for table-top display. Commonly self-standing menus serve to promote drinks, appetizers, and desserts.

Lamination options include glossy, matte, or soft-touch finishes.

Lamination makes menus washable as well as durable.
